Confirm Your Pregnancy
Free Ultrasounds in Canyon County
At Lifeline Pregnancy Resource Center, we offer free limited, non-diagnostic ultrasounds to confirm how far along you are, check for a fetal heartbeat, and make sure the pregnancy is located in the uterus.
Ultrasounds are performed by a trained nurse or a certified sonographer (RDMS) and are reviewed by a licensed OB/GYN.

Common Ultrasound FAQs
Did You Know?
An ultrasound is the best way to confirm if your pregnancy is developing normally. Studies show that about 1 in 4 pregnancies do not continue, and some miscarriages aren’t noticed until seen on an ultrasound.1
If a miscarriage is found, follow-up care with a medical provider is important to protect your health.

Because there is a high demand for free ultrasounds in our area, we ask that clients first confirm their pregnancy with a positive test at our center.
We offer free pregnancy tests and, in many cases, we can schedule your ultrasound the same day.
-
If you're thinking about abortion, your first step is to have an ultrasound. This helps confirm how far along you are and if the pregnancy is developing.
An ultrasound can tell you two important things:
-
Is the pregnancy progressing?
Knowing how far along you are helps determine what kind of abortion you might qualify for. The method and cost can depend on your health and the stage of the pregnancy. -
Is the pregnancy viable?
A viable pregnancy means it is growing in the uterus. The only way to know for sure is with an ultrasound. About 1 in 4 pregnancies end on their own, and some women don’t know they’ve had a miscarriage until it shows up on an ultrasound. If you’ve miscarried, you’ll need follow-up care from a doctor.
At Lifeline, we offer free ultrasounds to give you the information you need before making any decisions.

We offer free ultrasounds to check if your pregnancy is developing and to find out how far along you are. Because we are a community-supported nonprofit, we don’t make money from your appointment or your pregnancy decision. Since our services are free, nothing will be billed to your insurance or show up on your records.
Your visit and ultrasound information are completely private. We’re here to support you in a safe and caring space as you explore your options.
If you’re having symptoms like bleeding, spotting, or cramping, please get medical help right away. These could be signs of a miscarriage, and you may need follow-up care from a doctor.
